Scanmatic has good experience with control systems for lighting and barrier systems, mainly aimed at traffic. We have different types of control systems to refer to and can deliver customized and standardized solutions.
Technology
A lighting system must be able to handle safe operation, especially along roads. Light meters with redundant solutions are often used. Adjustment of the illuminance can either be controlled steplessly via a bus-based solution, or traditionally via step-based solutions. Local control panel and remote control can be adapted to the desired interface.
A control system for barriers along the road must be able to handle emergency situations in a safe manner. Interlocking with warning lights and barrier loops for detection in front of and behind the boom prevent unforeseen collisions with the barrier arm. Safety functions adapted to the barrier system are carefully tested according to our own procedures before commissioning. Remote control and monitoring of boom systems can be implemented in a functional HMI interface according to the user’s specifications.
