Application
To prevent oil spills, it is important that the hoses used to unload oil from a platform to a cargo ship are not damaged. Scanmatic supplies systems that platform workers themselves can use to carry out inspections of the hose, inside and out, to detect tears and deformations.
Technology
The systems are adapted to the current installation and the projects are typically carried out in close collaboration with the supplier of the unloading system itself. Scanmatic’s delivery typically consists of an ATEX-approved underwater camera for internal inspection of the hose, 2 – 400 m submarine cable, ATEX-approved winch, junction boxes, wiring, connectors, control cabinet and workstation with joystick.
