Application
Scanmatic conducts compilation and testing of a wide range of control systems, electrical panels and cabinets according to the standard specified by the customer. The drawing and documentation is either produced by Scanmatics engineers, in collaboration with the customer or delivered completely by the customer. Benefits at Scanmatic include close links between production and engineering departments for efficient troubleshooting and change management, as well as good purchasing conditions at the major equipment manufacturers.
Technology
A good example of Scanmatic’s expertise in this field is our delivery to an unmanned loading buoy that will be connected to an FPSO in an oil field in West Africa. To this buoy, Scanmatic provided systems for anchor line monitoring and PIG detection, assembly of hydraulic rack and control cabinet, as well as electrical wiring and assembly of the control container, which is operated on a battery with solar cells and communicates over the radio link with the FPSO.
